Biography 

1.      Kareena Kapoor is an Indian actress best known for her roles in movies like ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham…,’ ‘Chameli,’ ‘Omkara,’ and ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan.’

2.      One of the Hindi film industry’s most popular actresses, she is also counted amongst the highest paid leading ladies in Bollywood.

3.      Born to veteran actors Randhir Kapoor and Babita, she was exposed to the film industry at a young age. Her elder sister Karisma Kapoor is also a well-known actress.

4.      She made her film debut as a 19-year-old in the war film ‘Refugee’ which proved to be a moderate success and helped launch her career as an upcoming actress.

5.      Despite getting a good start, she struggled for a few years to establish herself following a string of flops.
